Former L'Oreal Insights VP Joins MMA

In the US, former L'Oreal exec Mark Anton has joined Synovate-owned Marketing Management Analytics (MMA) as Senior Vice President, Strategic Accounts.

Mark AntonMMA provides analytics technology and consulting to help firms address marketing mix, pricing and sales force effectiveness issues. In August, the division was merged with the group's SMA division.

Anton joins with twenty years' experience of applying consumer and advanced analytics to solve business challenges within consumer products companies. Most recently, he worked at L'Oreal as VP of Consumer and Market Intelligence in the Consumer Products Divisions, in charge of consumer research, shopper insights and syndicated research. Before this, he held senior analytic and market research positions at Phillip Morris, Clairol and ADP.

In his new role, he will work with strategic accounts to roll out MMA's analytics solutions, while collaborating with the firm's leadership team to drive innovation initiatives.

CEO Pat Cummings, to whom he reports, says Anton brings 'a unique combination of leadership experience, plus technical, boardroom and analytic expertise' and adds: 'We're thrilled to have someone of Mark's high caliber and record of accomplishment joining the MMA team.'

In the past two months, MMA has also hired ten new Senior Analysts to handle the demand from clients for its consulting and analytic services.
