KXEN Debuts DIY Modelling Tool

November 18 2011

In the US, predictive analytics specialist KXEN is promising marketers who have no prior training in data mining techniques the chance to build and deploy their own predictive models, via a newly launched DIY version of its InfiniteInsight modeling suite.

John BallKXEN is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices across the US and in Paris and London. Its flagship product, InfiniteInsight, is a tool for building predictive models. The new DIY version, InfiniteInsight Express, allows marketers to build predictive models 'in minutes', freeing them to respond to campaigns and ensure customer interactions are based on the latest information.

A browser-based graphical user interface helps marketers identify the specific behaviors they are trying to predict, the timeframe in which the prediction will occur, and the target audience. Users can enter campaign costs and expected profits for each positive response, and the tool then automatically calculates the optimum target list based on constraints such as maximizing profits within the campaign budget.

States CEO John Ball: 'Marketing professionals are often the biggest beneficiaries of predictive capabilities but have been left out in the cold by the traditional predictive analytic and data mining players in this market. We intend to change that with InfiniteInsight Express.'
