Italian Sports Specialist Restructures

In Italy, sports research specialist Immagine & Sport has re-organised, with Nevio Devidè assuming the role of CEO, replacing Marco Nazzari who becomes Managing Director.

Founded in 1984, Milan-based Immagine & Sport offers media ROI analysis, target audience profiling, and assessment of sports sponsorship through market research. The firm is a partner of the IFM Sports Group network and provides consultancy advice to sponsors and organisers of a variety of events, including the International Olympic Committee.

The restructure has been driven by growth, with the firm relocating to new headquarters in the Assago Milanofiori business center. Founding Partner and Analysis and R&D Manager Alberto Fanfoni joins the Board of Directors.

Devidè (pictured) is the former Marketing and Sponsorship MD for the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics, and before this served as Marketing Director at Media Partners (Infront), where he led marketing management for the Italian football team, the Italian Open Tennis and Italian Open Golf. Earlier, he was a professional tennis player.

Commenting on his appointment, Nazzari said: 'Nevio joining the company is the natural development of an ongoing cooperation relationship that began several years ago and grew stronger with time.
