Wireclub Launches Engagement Measure

November 23 2011

Canadian firm Wireclub Media has launched a real-time service measuring engagement with mobile apps and web sites.

Rod FurlanIn addition to real-time social media applications and analytics, Wireclub develops tools for automated online community management and semantic analysis. It also provides a social media chat network through Wireclub.com, which currently serves more than three million users.

The new INSIGHT platform provides statistical analysis tools to enable customers to track and analyze user behavior in real-time. The service is based on a proprietary 'complex event processing' (CEP) platform, designed to handle a very large volume of events - which according to co-founder Rod Furlan, could include more than 100 million daily generated from Wireclub.com. It then constantly analyzes these collected events to find salient relationships and trends.

Furlan comments: 'Extracting insights from data can be hard because not everyone has a statistician on their team. That is why we also provide a robust set of automated statistical analysis tools to help our customers translate social engagement data into actionable insights.'

Currently in beta testing, INSIGHT will be rolled out globally in early 2012.
