Ad Targeting Platform Rolls Out in Spain

Danish online company Adform - which offers an advertising platform incorporating personalised targeting options - has opened an office in Spain, where it has appointed Miguel Fernandez-Gil as Business Development Director.

Miguel Fernandez-GilFounded in 2002, Adform now has offices in 10 countries including the Nordics, UK, Germany and Italy. Its platform offers a tool through which display ads are served - including rich media, video, mobile, and dynamic adverts - while also providing real-time bidding options.

Fernandez-Gil (pictured) joins with more than 20 years' sales and marketing experience, most recently gained as Commercial Director of Admotion Spain. He was previously Sales Director of the National Geographic Channel, and earlier in his career served as a Product Manager at Unilever and Marketing Manager at McDonald's Corporation.

Adform's Marketing Director Martin Stockfleth Larsen comments: 'Many of our competitors only offer a piecemeal solution that either handles media purchases or optimisation, while we are able to deliver a comprehensive platform that covers all media management. We have been surprised by the high growth potential in Italy and recognise the possibility that the market may turn out to be even more attractive for us in Spain.'
