January 5 2012

Amiad SolomonPeer39's patented algorithms use natural language processing and machine learning to analyse page meaning and sentiment, in order to match the most relevant display and text advertising to consumers.

The firm - which is led by Amiad Solomon (pictured) - is headquartered in New York, with a research and development centre in Petah Tikva, Israel. Its latest funding has been led by Evergreen Venture Partners, Canaan Partners and Dawntreaders Venture.

Last November, Peer39 added a new 'Ad Stats' service to its existing ad targeting technology, to provide users with data to help them choose the position of their ad placements, in relation to the fold and based on the number of ads per page.
