Digby Debuts Location-based Marketing Tool

January 23 2012

Multi-channel mobile solutions firm Digby has announced the launch of Localpoint, a platform offering location-based marketing, analytics and commerce.

Dave SikoraThe solution combines analysis of shopping activities at a brand's physical locations with targeted 'location-aware' mobile messaging tools. Brands can 'create geo-fences around their stores and other points of interest' and code these locations into apps to measure entries and exits, product code scans and other events. Brands can then deliver rich, targeted messages in real-time using the solution's own marketing campaign creation and management system.

In addition to these analytics, key features include 'Outreach', which allows direct communication with loyal customers including 'Deal of the Day'-type offers in appropriate locations; 'Venue', which triggers promotional offers and messages on entry, exit, and during store / location visits; and Storefront, allowing consumers to search, browse and buy when at home, mobile, and in the store.

President and CEO Dave Sikora comments: 'Digby Localpoint provides brands with the ultimate opportunity - the power to know where their consumers are and the ability to personally engage with them based on their individual preferences and desires.'

The company is online at www.digby.com .
