Mvix Launches Real-Time Tracker

In the US, communications and networking company Mvix has announced the launch of an end-to-end proximity system MvixAir. The new tool allows communication of information, special offers, product discounts or research stimuli via mobile phones at any relevant location.

Mvix provides real-time footfall infoThe system integrates audio-visual, short range radio signals, Bluetooth and wireless data transfer to provide geographically specific customer interaction. A broad range of stimuli and other content can be sent to the audience, from a discount coupon to a video clip, prize draw, public service announcement or a link to a web site. Its main applications are in marketing, market research, and crowd monitoring and traffic analysis.

The system locates, tracks and translates radio signals into information over public air waves providing real-time footfall information such as heat maps.
