Dipsticks Opens Travel and FMCG Divisions

North of England-based Dipsticks Research has opened two new divisions - travel and tourism specialist 'explore research', and bespoke consumer solutions unit 'fmcg insights'; and appointed Katie Bryan-Brown and John Vincent to lead them.

explore research will provide clients in the travel and tourism sectors with services including customer and visitor profiling, user satisfaction surveys, brand tracking, B2B and international work.

The team is led by Katie Bryan-Brown (pictured), who joins with more than 20 years' travel and tourism research experience. Most recently, she was Associate Director at Cardiff-based Strategic Marketing, where she worked with Welsh Government clients and developed a new syndicated tourism survey which was rolled out across Wales. Prior to this, Bryan-Brown was a Regional Director at Cello-owned mruk for six years, in charge of the client services team, and earlier she served as Associate Director for MSS Research, and as Senior Researcher for TRL.

Led by former Intersnack Marketing Director John Vincent, fmcg insights uses advanced research techniques such as i-pads for face-to-face interviewing, online panel research, consumption panels and eye tracking using X-Ray Spex.

Vincent joins with more than 20 years' experience in the FMCG sector, having previously held senior research and marketing roles at Nielsen, NMRA (part of Mars Group), Coca-Cola, Phileas Fogg, Orchid Drinks (now Britvic) and Intersnack.
