Tamer El Naggar, the former CEO of Synovate Middle East & North Africa (MENA), has joined TNS as Chief Executive Officer of its North Africa business.

El Naggar worked for Synovate for 18 years, and was promoted to his previous position in 2010. In 1996, he took up the post of Country Manager of Synovate Morocco, and three years later, he became Country Manager for Synovate Egypt and then the North Africa region.

During his nearly 20 years in the research sector, El Naggar has gained experience across a broad range of sectors including FMCG, telecoms, auto, tourism, financial services, and social and developmental research.

He is ESOMAR’s Egypt representative, as well as AEMRI’s North Africa & Middle East representative. In addition, El Naggar is the co-Chairman of the Marketing Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo (AMCHAM).
