Myriad Launches Mobile Data Privacy Solution

Mobile social media experience specialist Myriad Group has launched an analytics platform to enable mobile service providers to better understand user behaviour without infringing on consumer privacy.

Simon WilkinsonZurich-headquartered Myriad is used to power mobile social media and web experiences through its single, scalable platform.

Its new Myriad Intelligence Hub solution enables all data analysis to be conducted in real-time and 'on device'. Drilling down into more than 200 categories, the tool is able to interpret user behaviour, while ensuring no personal data is disclosed.

The firm says that with opt-in mechanisms throughout the customer experience, the users are provided with 'complete reassurance' regarding the protection of their personal data, while enabling carriers and advertisers to reach the most appropriate user, at the right time, with the right service and message.

Simon Wilkinson (pictured), CEO of Myriad Group, comments: 'We're offering a solution that does not infringe on consumers' personal data and puts them in control. A lot of other larger, more established companies in the mobile space haven't got this right, and there's mounting pressure to keep personal customer data private.
