TEAM TransActive Opens for Shopper Insights

US experiential marketing agency TEAM Enterprises has opened a shopper insights division called TEAM TransActive, with a goal to 'connect brands and consumers' wherever they shop.

Tom DowdyOwned by marcoms network MDC Partners, TEAM Enterprises produces interactive brand experiences that physically engage and influence consumers.

Its new division will be led by industry veterans Tom Dowdy (CEO) and Ira Rosenkrantz (Chief Sales Officer), who previously co-founded retail services firm National In-Store, which they later sold to Omnicom.

Their team will focus on using insights and event data tracking to deliver 'the right environment, right products, right packaging, and right marketing communication' to satisfy shoppers' needs. Services will include shopper marketing, retail and brand insights, retail merchandising, demos and sampling, and fulfilment.

Dowdy (pictured) comments: 'The success, or failure, of a brand often hinges at that moment of sale when purchase decisions are made. TEAM TransActive, working with manufacturers and retailers, will create a more engaging shopper experience, influencing shoppers at the point of purchase.'
