Sitomic Adds QR Codes for Print Ad Stats

In Canada, mobile marketing platform Sitomic.com has launched a new solution called QR Code Manager, which will gather visitor statistics resulting from printed ad campaigns and analyze them across multiple publications.

QR users can give clues to overall ROI...According to comScore, in December 2011, 1 in 5 US smartphone owners scanned a QR code with their phone.
Through the new solution, a unique QR code is created for each type of ad - whether for a magazine, feature, poster or business card. The tool then collects data about smartphone owners who have scanned a printed QR code on their phone, and organizes this data into an analytics table to enable clients to track ROI for each campaign.
