UK's CIE Hires Eight

In London, CIE - the insight and engagement division of Chime Communications PLC - has announced the appointment of eight new team members. The new roles include Research, Field Support and Marketing Managers as well as Graduate Recruits.

Harriet Owen, Susannah Wilson and Melanie ScottThe new appointments follow a month in which the division reported a 35% increase in headline operating profit and launched a new digital MR agency, Watermelon Research.

Appointed to the role of Research Manager are Heather Norrington and Ellie Osborne. Prior to Joining CIE Norrington worked for GfK NOP Business and Technology where she managed both continuous and ad hoc studies. Before this she was with social and economic consultancy Step Ahead Research. Osborne was previously at Redshift Research where she specialized in customer satisfaction, branding, consumer segmentation and NPD.

Oliver Rose joins as a Field Support Manager. Prior to joining CIE, Rose was a Survey Manager and Data Analyst with educational research specialist Fastclass Consultancy.

Melanie Scott joins as Marketing Manager, working across all the businesses in the CIE Group. Previously she worked for a Kent based design and publishing firm.

Susannah Wilson joins the accounts team as Assistant Management Accountant having held senior bookkeeping and financial controller positions for the past 27 years.

The three candidates accepted onto the CIE Graduate Training Scheme are Harriet Owens, a graduate of Warwick University; Becky Ingram who joins from the Royal Holloway University of London; and Sarah Mulcahy who has just completed a stint working on the Irish Presidential Campaign.
