Brunswick Hires Moran to Expand US Insights Practice

April 11 2012

In the US, communications consultancy Brunswick Group has appointed former StrategyOne President Robert Moran as a Partner, to lead the expansion of its Insights and Opinion Research practice in the Americas.

Robert MoranBrunswick specialises in assessing global business issues and corporate reputation, and uses qual and quant research techniques to help companies and organisations inform and measure their communication strategies.

Moran joins from Edelman's research arm StrategyOne, where he managed the Insights and Communications and Measurement Analytics business across the firm's five US offices. He previously worked as VP at survey and strategic consulting firm Fabrizio, McLaughlin & Associates, and earlier as Senior Project Director at Public Opinion Strategies (POS). Here he managed hundreds of political and corporate research projects and launched the Beltway Barometer, a survey of Washington's elite.

In his new role, Moran will draw on his knowledge of opinion and market research, corporate reputation, issues and crisis management, forecasting, analytics and brand research. He will work with Brunswick's global research team - including London-based Partners Graeme Trayner, who set up Brunswick Research in 2006, and Phil Riggins who joined last year - while also developing new research products and approaches to expand the firm's global offering.

US MD Susan Gilchrist comments: 'Bob's expertise as a strategic research advisor, and his leadership in developing the next generation of insight tools, adds an exciting new capability for our clients.'
