Healthcare market research provider Cegedim Strategic Data (CSD) has integrated practice-level NHS GP prescribing data for England into its MultiView analysis software platform.

CSD offers a range of market research services and solutions, and combines primary and secondary analyses with its medical expertise. Last month, the firm expanded with the opening of an office in Indonesia, adding to its existing Asia presence in China, Australia, India, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.

The newly integrated data was first made available by the NHS Health and Social Care Information Centre in December. While the basic practice-level data is already available on the Information Centre web site, CSD is combining this information with its proprietary research datasets - UK physician database Cegedim OneKey, other NHS information, and third party intelligence.

By providing the ability to link to OneKey and building in other NHS data, companies now have a very strong basis for assessing brand potential and return on investment at an individual practice level.’
