UK e-commerce association IMRG (Interactive Media In Retail Group) has partnered with European trade association EMOTA to launch the IMR Smart Knowledge Base, an open-access library of insights into the performance of the global e-commerce market.
The Knowledge Base offers both UK and international data and promises to provide ‘the definitive resource for global e-commerce intelligence and data’, and is pitched at ‘retailers looking to progress their business strategies’. Data includes content from IMRG’s existing range of member databases or ‘Indexes’, and some compiled from a range of global sources, checked for ‘integrity’ and currency.
Categories included are e-Commerce growth in sixty countries; dashboard-based in-depth information on 200 countries and other economic regions such as MENA, OPEC and GCC; aggregated online sales data representing retailers across 16 categories; general economic data and demographics; and other information including parcel delivery performance, facebook and mobile penetration.
London-based IMRG is a membership community set up to develop and share the latest best practice advice to the country’s online retailers. EMOTA is the European Multi-Channel and Online Trade Association. Web sites are at www.imrg.org
and the Knowledge Base can be accessed at http://theknowledgebase.imrg.org .
