Austrian market research company Klufamily has gone into receivership after twenty years in business.

The Treffen, Villach-based firm, which carried out qual and quant market research and fieldwork across Austria, has net debts of around 460,000 Euros and nineteen staff. In a statement reported in www.austriantimes.at , the directors said an audit had revealed ‘a much larger debt to the state than had been anticipated’, and they could no longer continue in business.

Bankruptcy proceedings have already been filed at the regional court in Klagenfurt, according to the creditors’ group alpenländische Kreditorenverband (AKV).
