Acquisio Buys Ad Tech Specialist ScienceOps

Media platform Acquisio has acquired online ad software developer ScienceOps along with its AdMetrica solution, which was designed to increase the number of conversions generated by the Google Display Network. Acquisio has also raised an undisclosed amount of investment.

Bryan MinorScienceOps' algorithms, which have been used in several fields including genomics, search and display advertising, can be used to drive conversions by monitoring bid prices and using metrics-based analysis to evaluate comparative performance between different ad creative. They also provide keyword lists which are constantly sampled and tested according to live performance data, and can be used to place ads across millions of pages.

This software will be added to Acquisio's performance advertising tools, which are used for ad purchase, conversion tracking and more.

Acquisio also announced that it has secured a new investment from Tandem Expansion and Fonds de solidarite FTQ, which it says will be uses to pursue company growth strategy.
