Basis Hires Showman as Head of Quant

London full service agency Basis Research has appointed former 2CV leader Lynsey Showman to head up its Quantitative team.

Founded in 1990, Basis offers access to qual and quant teams who work independently or together to provide services to a wide range of clients and sectors. The agency has seen revenues more than double in the past three years, reaching £5m for the period ending 31 March 2012.

Showman (pictured) joins as Head of Quantitative Research, leading a team of twelve, while also overseeing Basis' in-house data processing/analytics team. She spent the last seven years at 2CV, latterly as Head of Quantitative Research, and the previous five at Research International.
