Panel and research technology provider Vision Critical has appointed Jim Cravens as Executive Vice President, Global Human Resources, to help further its plans for global growth.

The news follows the announcement earlier in the week of a $20m investment to fuel the firm’s international expansion.

Chairman Angus Reid says that Cravens will be tasked with helping the firm ‘attract the industry’s best talent’, and aligning talent development and organizational design initiatives with Vision Critical’s strategic plans.

Cravens (pictured) joins from Synovate, where he led all human resources initiatives for North America. During his career, he has also held senior HR positions at Nielsen, and The Forecastle Group, which focuses on executive compensation and leadership development. He began his career as a mergers and acquisitions and corporate securities attorney with Sidley Austin in Chicago and Tokyo.
