Healthcare specialist The Research Partnership has opened a market access consultancy called ‘The Access Partnership’, which will provide services to the pharma, biotech, and medtech industries. It will be run by healthcare research veteran Mike Mallinson, who joins at the end of the year.
From its headquarters in London and offices in the US and Singapore, the new consultancy will work with manufacturers to help them develop pricing, market access and payer engagement strategies.
will take up his new position with more than 30 years’ experience gained both agency and client-side. During his career, he previously served as UK MD for Double Helix Consulting, which focuses on market access, pricing and reimbursement insights. Prior to this, he established a payer, pricing, reimbursement and market access practice within GfK’s Global HealthCare division.
Mallinson’s former Double Helix colleagues Rob White and Dr Shrinivas Rao Mukku have already joined The Access Partnership as Global Director of Market Access and Global Director of Pricing and Reimbursement respectively.
White has more than 20 years’ sector experience, gained at Double Helix Consulting, and while serving as Head of Market Access at Merck Sharp & Dohme, where he worked for more than 11 years. Rao Mukku most recently served as Global Director, Pricing and Reimbursement at Double Helix Consulting, prior to which, he was a Consultant at pharmaceutical pricing consultancy PriceSpective.
