UX Firm Foolproof Buys in Singapore

UK-based experience design agency Foolproof has acquired Singapore-based user experience agency One to One Global, thus extending its services to Asia. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Peter BallardFoolproof specialises in user experience strategy, user research, user-centred design, conversion rate optimisation, and mobile experience design, operating across all digital channels. Last year, the company merged with competitor Flow Interactive, to create what they describe as 'Europe's largest specialist UX agency'.

Company co-founder Peter Ballard (pictured) said that by adding a local team in Asia, Foolproof has now acquired 'valuable knowledge' and experience in regional nuances.

One to One provides a number of research services covering areas such as usability, neuromarketing, eye tracking, concept testing, brand perception and competitive benchmarking.

Following the acquisition, Lead Consultant Evelyn Lee will remain a Director of the company, which will be known as Foolproof (sg) Ptd. Ltd.

Lee commented: 'This is great news, both for our teams and for our clients. Foolproof shares our philosophy and values, including the paramount importance of involving customers throughout the digital design process. Becoming part of Foolproof means we're now well placed to grow the business significantly, both in Singapore and across the rest of Asia.'
