Forrester Hires Former Gartner Leader Mike Morhardt

In the US, technology specialist Forrester Research has appointed former Gartner sales leader Mike Morhardt as Chief Sales Officer.

Morhardt (pictured) has twenty years' experience leading sales organizations in the information services business. Most recently, he was MD of primary research firm Gerson Lehrman Group, prior to which, he spent fourteen years at Gartner, where he ran the company's Americas sales organization and worldwide event sales team.

George Colony, Forrester's Chairman and CEO, comments: 'Mike has demonstrated the ability to build high-performing, cost-effective sales organizations marked by their accountability and operational excellence. He is a seasoned and disciplined executive and an influential process improvement leader who has expertise in systems upgrades, training and onboarding, and packaging and pricing.'

Morhardt starts in his new position on November 12th.
