InRev Raises Funds to Grow Social Media Platform

InRev, the owner of social media brand monitoring platform Simplify360, has received an undisclosed amount of Series B investment, which it plans to use to 'aggressively' acquire new customers in the US.

In addition to tracking consumer communities on networks such as Facebook or Twitter, and measuring engagement, it also offers brand and profile tracking, in-depth buzz trend analysis, and an influencers dashboard.

In January, InRev raised an undisclosed amount of investment from Kolkata-based IT Investor Raj Mishra. The firm's latest funding comes from Texas-based Amvensys Capital Group, LLC, whose Partners Z. Ed Lateef and Ajay Alur now join the Simplify360 Board.

Bhupendra Khanal (pictured), CEO of InRev, says: 'We are excited about this partnership and funds from this investment will be used to expand and grow operations in United States. We have built a strong and loyal customer base in India, APAC and Europe, but we definitely want to turn Simplify360 into a global company. The US is a key market for us to achieve this goal.'
