Brain Surgery Adds Trio to Senior Team

In the US, Brain Surgery Worldwide, which specialises in what it calls describes as 'emotion based behavior insight', has made three key appointments in its senior management team.

Dr Heather RuppFounded in 2003, the firm's approach brings together aspects of qual and quant research to capture information from respondents while their prefrontal cortex is active.

Cognitive neuroscience specialist Dr Heather Rupp (pictured) joins to lead Brain Surgery's psychological/neuroscience services, including the co-ordination of its global team of psychologists located in 29 countries. Most recently, she worked at neuroscience specialist EmSense, designing theoretical models of consumer preference and decision-making, and working on projects including multisensory and implicit cognitive task methodologies. Earlier in her career she worked for The Kinsey Institute at Indiana University as an Assistant Research Scientist.

Barbara Rowen joins as Vice President, following eleven years with pharma manufacturer Merck & Co, latterly as Global Director, Market Research & Analytics. Her experience includes market research in device development, in-licensing/business development and market access.

Aagee Lane also joins as Vice President, after 27 years working for strategic market research firm Omega Group, where as EVP she helped create custom solutions for pharma clients, facilitate sessions with C-level execs, design and conduct brand development workshops, and align cross-functional global teams.
