New Partners and Offices for Simon-Kucher

German consultancy Simon-Kucher, which advises on product, pricing and marketing strategy, has announced the appointment of six new partners, all based outside its home country. The firm has recently opened offices in Dubai and Istanbul, and will soon add Sao Paulo and Santiago de Chile.

The firm, which is expecting revenues of EUR 140m for the full year 2012, reported a 24% increase in revenues to EUR 107.4m for the third quarter. Founded in 1985, it now employs around 650 professionals in 25 offices worldwide.

The new partners - who start next month and join 57 existing partners - are James Brown, in London; Joshua Bloom, in San Francisco; Hong-May Cheng, in Amsterdam; Michael Kuehn in New York City; Bert Sebastian Strasmann, working out of London and Cologne; and David Vidal, in Paris.

Brown specializes in B2B contract pricing, sales force and pricing interaction, and spent eleven years in industry before joining Simon-Kucher three years ago. Bloom's focus is marketing, pricing, and sales for software and construction companies of all sizes. Cheng has more than fourteen years' experience in strategic marketing and commercial excellence, and specializes in developing new business and portfolio concepts, value-based pricing strategies and value selling.

Kuehn's focus is on the pharmaceutical retail market as well as strategic marketing, international pricing and reimbursement strategies, and he also heads up Simon-Kucher's financial investor and business development support initiative. Strasmann is an expert in marketing and price management, and in the control of margin and revenue in b2b industries. Vidal specializes in value management, strategic pricing, marketing, and pricing optimization, and leads projects for retail and e-commerce, hotel and restaurant industry clients.
