Aldata Unveils Shopper Interaction Data Tool

December 5 2012

US-based retail optimization firm Aldata has introduced a solution allowing retailers to store, segment, maintain, analyze and report on shopper data.

Allan DaviesAldata's insights software offers retailers analysis of key indicators such as consumer behavior, supplier performance, inventory levels and product performance. Last month, the firm launched the 'Omni-Shopper' suite, which pulls together shopper data from a range of channels and uses it to drive product marketing and supply.

The firm's new 'Shopper Relationship Management' (SRM) tool enables retailers to measure online shopper interactions - including buying patterns and response to promotions - through a single cloud-based solution, which then delivers targeted promotions and social media communications to smartphones, tablets and PCs. It also identifies the times when promotions are most likely to influence purchases or store visits.

CMO Allan Davies (pictured) comments: 'Retailers can now understand shopper behavior across all their channels and react to opportunities and challenges fast with highly targeted campaigns. Aldata's cloud technology means customers are up and running within weeks and subscription pricing enables rapid return on their investment.'
