AOL Buys Predictive Analytics Firm Buysight

In the US, AOL's Advertising.com Group has acquired predictive analytics and retargeting specialist Buysight for an undisclosed sum.

Armin EbrahimiSunnyvale, California-based Buysight delivers real-time behavioral advertising through its Buyer Targeting platform, which provides modeling and prediction of purchase intent, and media buying optimization. Its services include retargeting previous site visitors and targeting relevant and personalized ads to potential shoppers.

AOL says the transaction will help the Advertising.com Group solidify its position as a provider of ad technology across display, mobile and video.

Ned Brody, CEO, Advertising.com Group, says Buysight's technology will further enhance the group's AdLearn optimization engine, and its ability to provide optimization solutions across channels.
