Kettle Takes Reins at Facts International

December 10 2012

UK-based fieldwork agency Facts International has promoted Emily Kettle to the new position of Managing Director, adding responsibility for potential M&A activity and international expansion initiatives to her existing duties as Group Client Services Director.

Emily KettleEstablished in 1985, Facts provides research and field/tab services to both end clients and market research agencies. The firm is part of Chime Communications' CIE (Chime Insight and Engagement) division, which also includes Opinion Leader, Watermelon Research, Tree, Open Plan and Naked Eye.

Kettle (pictured) has more than fifteen years' research experience. She began her career at Facts International before moving to Synovate - and during her time at the latter was seconded to the Consumer Understanding team of fragrance house Givaudan. She rejoined Facts in 2007, and has since worked as a quant researcher across a wide range of sectors. In 2010, Kettle was appointed to the CIE Group Board.

One of her first tasks in the new role is to expand the Client Services team, with the recruitment of a number of additional research professionals.

CIE Group Chief Exec Crispin Beale comments: 'Emily is passionate about delivering results that drive genuine positive change and her hugely successful career can, in part, be attributed to her ability to really get under the skin of the commercial drivers of a client's business. This is a promotion she thoroughly deserves and that will push the company forward onto an even greater growth trajectory.'
