Heart+Mind Hires to Boost Healthcare Offering

Washington, DC-based research and consulting company Heart+Mind Strategies has appointed Don Hawk, Ph.D., previously of Wirthlin Worldwide and Harris Interactive, to expand its healthcare business and strategic offerings.

Heart+Mind was started in 2010 by former leaders of Wirthlin Worldwide, and opened a center named after its founder later that year.

Hawk brings more than twenty years' experience of the healthcare sector including market research and direct industry experience in both managed care and integrated healthcare. His focus is on qual research in the US and other markets including the BRICs (Brazil, Russia, India and China). He has worked in categories including diabetes, cardiovascular, obesity, pediatric & adult vaccines, among groups including cardiologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, pharmacists, patients and caregivers.

Hawk will be based in the Cincinnati area, joining the Healthcare Practice under the leadership of Shawn Wade, Ph.D.
