iQor Buys CCT to Expand Big Data Services

December 21 2012

NYC-based customer analytics specialist iQor has acquired the CCT Group, which provides contact center and business process outsourcing services and will help to broaden its big data offer.

Norm MerrittiQor specializes in providing data-driven, technology customer support and processing, while its big data analytics engine QuantuMatch mines clients' data to help them understand and communicate with their customer base.

The CCT Group - which has 4,500 employees and operates as Cyber City Teleservices Philippines and Cyber City Teleservices Panama - offers call center outsourcing solutions from sites in Pampanga and Davao, Philippines and Panama City, Panama. In 2010, Cyber City Teleservices Group merged with call center technology specialist Interactive Response Technologies, which operates five centers in Florida, Texas and Oklahoma.

iQor has made the acquisition through the CCT Group's majority investor Headland Capital Partners, for an undisclosed sum.

Norm Merritt (pictured), President and CEO of iQor, comments: 'The acquisition of the CCT Group is part of our strategic plan to apply our technology-enabled solutions and deep analytics capabilities to a broader platform. We believe acquiring CCT will expand our abilities to offer our respective clients a wider range of technology-enabled solutions and big data analysis into the increasingly complex customer experience.'

In October, iQor acquired visual business intelligence specialist HardMetrics, which provides cloud-based visual business intelligence, business analytics and reporting solutions.
