AbsolutData Opens London Office

US-based analytics and research firm AbsolutData has opened an office in the UK, where it has appointed Kulpreet Singh to lead it as Senior Vice President, Europe and Middle East.

Kulpreet SinghFounded in 2001, AbsolutData offers big data and business analytics, modelling, reporting and data management from offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Gurgaon, India. Last year, the company raised $20m in investment funding, which it earmarked for global expansion and development of its big data offer.

Singh (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' experience in pharma, consumer electronics, consulting, utilities, business process outsourcing (BPO) and analytics. Most recently, he served as Head of UK and Europe, as well as Global Head of Utilities for ExlService Holdings, where he launched the company's European operations. Prior to this, he was a business transformation professional at British Gas, a senior consultant at Gemini Consulting, and held various sales and marketing roles at Sony and Panasonic.

In his new London-based role, Singh will be responsible for managing and expanding client relationships and identifying expansion opportunities in new international markets.
