InsightsNow Hires Industry Veteran Mark Turim as COO

US-based product innovation specialist InsightsNow has appointed former NPD Group LatAm President Mark Turim as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer.

Mark TurimFounded in 2003 in Corvallis, OR, InsightsNow works with consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies to help them develop better products. Last summer, the company launched a new approached called Product Spark to identify the specific features of a product which deliver the most consumer benefits.

Turim (pictured) joins with almost three decades of experience in the market research industry. Most recently, he served as President and General Manager for Latin America and Asia Pacific at The NPD Group, prior to which he was Global Head of Operations and COO for Ipsos ASI. Before that, he was EVP for CPG at Synovate, and Global COO and CEO of Latin America for Research International. At the beginning of his career, he spent eighteen years at Information Resources Inc. (IRI), during which time, he had responsibilities for businesses in Europe, Latin America Asia, and Australia.

In his new role, working alongside InsightsNow founder and CEO David Lundahl, Turim will use his management and operating experience to help the firm extend the models it has developed for the media and CPG industries.
