Senior Hires for Appinions

Influence marketing specialist Appinions has made two senior hires: John Mitchell joins as Chief Revenue Officer and David Fausel as SVP of Consulting Services.

John Mitchell and David FauselThe company mines sources including blogs, social networks and traditional media, to help clients identify and engage with online influencers, and then measure the results of their 'influence marketing' efforts. The firm is privately owned and based in New York City.

Mitchell brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, including nineteen at IBM. In his new role he will focus on accelerating the growth of the business. Fausel brings more than seventeen years' experience in marketing and advertising, including spells at agencies Ogilvy, kbp, Wieden and Hal Riney, and is charged with running Appinions' consulting services group.

The company recently hires industry veterans David Bell and Jon Bond as Chairman of the Board of Mentors and senior marketing advisor, respectively. Bell says of Mitchell's appointment: 'Arguably the most important hire an early stage company makes as they pivot to the growth stage is the Chief Revenue Officer. John is the perfect person for the job.'
