Former P&G Insight Leader Joins YourEncore

Jennifer Otto, formerly Vice President of Consumer & Market Knowledge at P&G, has joined expert solutions provider YourEncore, to lead its new consumer insights program.

Jennifer OttoThe Indianapolis-based firm provides expert solutions to the life sciences, consumer product and food industries, tapping more than 8,000 veteran execs to help clients accelerate innovation and growth.

Otto spent nearly thirty years in consumer-driven analysis, strategy and planning at CPG behemoth Procter & Gamble, most recently leading its Global Beauty, Grooming, and Personal Care businesses. Prior to this she led the expansion of Iams Pet Food across mass retail channels, helping to double P&G's pet care business. Previous roles helped to rollout various Crest toothpaste products, and to create customer-driven business strategies for food and beverage, household cleaner and laundry products, baby care and other categories worldwide.

In her new role she will help clients develop new products, identify new consumer needs and innovative business models, and contribute to the firm's understanding of consumers, shoppers and retailers. YourEncore CEO Brad Lawson says Otto has 'a keen ability to integrate consumer research, retail data, trends, demographics and other information' and adds: 'It requires years of experience across categories, markets and demographics and an understanding of product development, marketing, manufacturing, and retail.
