Kea Buy Creates Analyst Relations Leader

March 4 2013

Amsterdam-based Kea Company has acquired London's Lighthouse Analyst Relations, thus becoming 'the world's largest analyst relations firm' independent of the top PR agencies. Kea is also a customer experience analyst and an advisor on go-to-market strategies.

Last year, Kea merged with another large analyst relations firm, German-based Daruma Concept. The acquisition of Lighthouse will help it serve clients in the US and UK, and will lead to the launch of two new subscription services, the Analyst Relations Leaders Service and the Analyst Relations Catalyst Service.

Kea says its existing portfolio of Influencer Relations and Business Advisory Services will be enhanced with the arrival of Lighthouse's new services for technology providers, including white papers, custom research, coaching and measurement.

Lighthouse's US Principal, Prof. Efrem Mallach will join Kea as Research Director, sit on its advisory board and help launch its new training programme; while its MD Duncan Chapple will lead Kea's new analyst relations services and manage the firm's growing UK and Ireland business.

Kea has subsidiaries in Germany, the UK and the USA and is supported by Business Partners worldwide. Company MD Bram Weerts describes Lighthouse as 'Europe's best known analyst relations consultancy over the last decade', while opposite number Chapple comments: 'Over the next five years, we will work together to create the world's largest analyst relations firm'.
