Pure Moxie Takes Stake in Tech Firm aSi Media

In the US, consumer insights group Pure Moxie has bought what it describes as a 'significant stake' in technology firm aSi Media, with the aim of enhancing its own digital insight services. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Antonio and Paris BuchananPure Moxie, which recently changed its name from tbgWorldwide, was founded in 2003 by husband and wife team Antonio and Paris Buchanan. Its team of researchers, anthropologists, data analysts, documentary filmmakers, ethnographers, trend-spotters, and programmers work from the firm's headquarters in Napa, as well as its offices in Paris and London.

Paris Buchanan says the deal will allow her firm to use aSi's mobile apps and platforms to build insight tools to monitor audience feedback. 'Many brands acknowledge the power of digital executions, but don't always see solutions through the lens of future insight opportunities,' she adds: 'PureMoxie pushes these additional insight gathering benefits forward with exciting, ground-breaking products for our clients.'
