TLE Hires Shopper Specialist in Brazil

Custom research firm TLE (formerly The Leading Edge) has appointed shopper research specialist Karen Sandrault as Director of Strategy at its Sao Paolo office.

TLE's headquarters are in Sydney, and it also has offices in New York, New Delhi, India and London.

Sandrault (pictured) joins after spending seven years running her own consultancy, which was focused on strategy and shopper projects for a mix of multinational and local companies. Previously, she served as Marketing Director for Diageo Brazil and Marketing Director for Coca-Cola Brazil. During her career, she has also worked for Colgate Palmolive in the US and Paco Rabane in France.

In her new role, Sandrault reports to Director of the Americas Daniel Binns, who comments: 'We're really excited to have Karen join our team in Brazil. She's been charged with converting our strong pipeline, which includes shopper projects for a major local food company and a sports shoe manufacturer, a sales optimization process overhaul for a local telco, and an innovation training program for a major French food company.'
