Respondent Recruitment and Screening Service Launched

Connecticut-based Civicom Marketing Research Services has launched a recruiting service, CiviSelect, which will provide respondents from all parts of the globe for research surveys using social media sites.

Civicom, which began as a conference and telecoms services company in 2005 but quickly grew MR services as a major part of its business, says the parent firm operates in 96 countries and the new service will benefit from its understanding of local customs. CiviSelect uses Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus and 'other networking sites' to recruit study participants.

As part of the CiviSelect service, the company will also offer discussion guide analysis and reviews of recruitment questionnaires, and can provide feedback on respondents' familiarity with specific technologies relevant to a project.
