US ad agency veteran Sheree Johnson has launched a firm called SJ Insights, which will offer market intelligence and analysis, proprietary market research, media planning and buying, along with marketing and advertising related consultancy services.
Johnson (pictured) has worked for more than 30 years in the ad sector, most recently as Director, Business Intelligence at Meers Advertising in Kansas City. In this role she managed account planning, data analytics/predictive modeling and market research. Prior to this she was SVP at marcoms agency Nicholson Kovac, where she supervised the media services department, and also served as the management representative for the digital services, market research and production services teams. Earlier, she worked at Cunningham & Walsh in Chicago as VP, Director of Media Services.
In addition to its insight and planning offerings, the new firm will also make use of an alliance of experts to provide a variety of marketing and advertising consulting services from social media strategy to ad agency search support on an as-needed basis.
Commenting on the launch, Johnson said: 'Insights are what lie at the heart of all aspects of marketing communications. SJ Insights is taking a distinctive, cost-effective approach to help businesses make fact-based, strategic decisions before they go to market with a new product, execute a new campaign or make other marketing decisions.'
