Double Helix Opens Munich Office

Healthcare consultancy Double Helix has opened an office in Munich, where it has appointed Thomas Becker as 'Head of Germany for Global Market Research'.

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Central London, Double Helix also has offices in Fort Washington, near Philadelphia and New York, and in Singapore. The company is part of the McCann Health network owned by IPG.

Becker (pictured) joins with more than ten years' market research experience. Most recently, he served as a Senior Consultant at qual specialist Psyma in Nuremberg, prior to which he spent eight years at TNS Healthcare (later Kantar Health), where he latterly led the Brand Management practice in Germany. He began his career at Polis GmbH, where he focused on election and social research, while providing consultancy services.

He has experience in both qual and quant research and has worked across a wide variety of disease areas including oncology, rheumatology, CV diseases and lung diseases.

In his new role, Becker will provide ad hoc strategic research services to healthcare companies across Germany.

Yesterday, the company announced it had set up an APAC market research team at its office in Singapore.
