Symphony Teleca Spins Off Analytics Services

Symphony Teleca, which supplies software services to the mobile communications industry, has spun off its big data predictive and social media analytics tools into a standalone division called Symphony Analytics, targeting clients in the banking, financial services, retail and healthcare sectors.

Dr Venkat RajanThe Mountain View, CA-based company is wholly owned by Symphony Technology Group (STG), and offers SaaS / cloud enterprise software products and mobile software tools. The latest move consolidates its analytics tools and industry-specific expertise to help clients tap into structured and unstructured data both within and outside their companies.

The new division's technology includes SymphonyRPM, which accelerates data integration and delivers data-based insight; FS&OP Manager, to enable cross-functional planning; and an Enterprise Pricing Management suite to help enterprises understand price fluctuation and measure pricing performance and trends.
