Ipsos MediaCT Hires for emma Roll Out Role

In Australia, Ipsos MediaCT has appointed former Horizon Media CEO Jane Nicholls for its new role as Commercial Director, in charge of the commercialization and roll out of the new 'emma' newspaper and magazine readership survey, launched last week by The Readership Works.

Jane NichollsThe survey known as emma ((Enhanced Media Metrics Australia) is funded by the newspaper industry, with resulting data gathered from more than 50,000 people a year. It will be published in the first quarter of the new financial year, and will examine readership across all newspaper and magazine formats including print, online and mobile devices, including tablets.

Nicholls (pictured) joins from Horizon Media, where she served as CEO and Head of Sales and Marketing. Prior to this, her media background included senior roles at Currawong Productions, News Limited, Fairfax Media, and Reader's Digest Association, and she also served as Business Director for ad agency Stokes King DDB Needham.
