YuMe Debuts Multi-Screen Household Targeting

July 11 2013

US-based digital video ad solutions firm YuMe has introduced a multi-screen household targeting offer, promising to help advertisers reach all members of a home on whatever connected device they are using.

Ed HaslamYuMe's proprietary data-science-driven technologies have been developed to enable advertisers to reach targeted, 'brand-receptive' audiences. The firm claims its new Household Targeting technology is the first to deliver 100% in-stream, interactive video ads across all connected screens in a household, and bring brand experiences to multiple members of one home. This technology will also allow YuMe to customize video creative and format it for any device.

In addition, Household Targeting provides a retargeting feature to reach members of the household even when they leave their home. Once YuMe identifies household devices, the technology can continue to target each viewers' device in locations such as their office, café, hotel, airport and anywhere there is a Wi-Fi or network connection.

Ed Haslam (pictured), SVP of Marketing, comments: 'Multi-device targeting creates a higher chance of getting your brand message in front of the right audience. With this level of targeting in the household, brand marketers can now reach people who live together for purchase influence.'
