Healthcare Specialists Merge

In the US, pharma data firms NexGen RxMarketing and Meta Pharmaceutical Services have merged. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

NexGen provides clients in pharma and medical device companies with digital products and services to help improve the effectiveness of their communications strategies, while MetaPharm offers a portfolio of data-driven marketing services and analytics tools to healthcare providers.

Following the merger, MetaPharm/NexGen will continue to operate independently but will offer a broadened range of services to benefit the combined 70-plus healthcare clients the firms currently support.

Chris Wiltshire of NexGen says MetaPharm's marketing automation expertise will allow his firm to offer 'increasingly targeted, personalized solutions resulting in greater access to healthcare providers for our customers.'
