SIS International Opens LA Office

US-based market research and market intelligence agency SIS International Research has opened an office in Los Angeles, and appointed Michael Stanat Managing Director for the West Coast region.

The firm, which was founded in 1984, offers a full range of services from its offices in New York, London and Shanghai. The new site in central Los Angeles includes facilities for focus groups and in-depth interviews.

Stanat (pictured) joined in 2007, since when he has held senior roles in the Shanghai and New York offices, and worked on large-scale multi-city research projects. He previously held project operations roles at market research firms in Dubai and Shanghai, and also authored a book called 'China's Generation Y: Understanding the Future Leaders of the World's Next Super Power'.

Stanat, who in his new position will be responsible for project operations, client servicing, corporate development and other activities across the region, says the posting allows the firm to provide enhanced value to clients worldwide. He adds: 'Between New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai, London, Berlin and our other locations around the world, this rounds out our global growth pipeline network.'
