Simon-Kucher Opens in Brazil and Chile

German-based product, pricing and marketing strategist Simon-Kucher & Partners is opening two Latin American offices, in São Paulo and Santiago de Chile, in order to serve a large existing client base in the region from local hubs. Manuel Osorio is appointed as Managing Partner of both new offices.

Osorio, who has until now been managing the firm's Latin American businesses from Miami, says the firm has conducted over 180 projects in the region in recent years for more than 60 companies. The group says it plans 'in the mid-term' to add another forty consultants to its current Latin American team, and to generate EUR 10 to 15 million per annum of additional revenue.

Co-CEO Dr. Georg Tacke comments: 'Opening offices in Brazil and Chile, two of the strongest markets in Latin America, is a logical step for our forward-thinking globalization strategy.' Co-CEO Dr. Klaus Hilleke adds: 'The economies in the region have a high demand for consulting services - regardless of the industry.'

The firm reports revenue of EUR 72.5m ($US 95m) in the first half of 2013 and says it now has 690 associates operating out of 27 offices in 22 countries, In January, it announced it was moving to larger premises in London, after reporting 20% growth in 2012 global revenue to EUR 145m.
