LinguaSys Launches Multilingual Analysis Tool

August 23 2013

US-based natural language processing firm LinguaSys has launched a tool which it says can draw intelligence from social media and big data in fifteen native languages.

Brian GarrBoca Raton, FL-based LinguaSys develops natural language processing software to provide real-time multilingual text analysis. Its new 'Sentiment[at]Work' tool bypasses the need to translate data into English before it can be analyzed, which the firm says often destroys much of the content's information value.

Clients can integrate the technology into their firewalls, tailoring the solution with specific vocabularies and other applications, such as advanced text analytics and machine translation, or using LinguaSys semantic analysis as an extension to existing analytics systems.

The tool is currently available in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, German, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Malay, Pashto, Persian, Urdu, Hebrew and Arabic, with a French version imminent.

CEO and founder Brian Garr (pictured) comments: 'If your company has to know what global customers are saying in their own languages, even when they offer opinions about multiple subjects in the same Tweet or content unit, Sentiment[at]Work is the solution. For example, our clients want to know what a Russian-speaking guest really said - in her own language - about both the hotel room and breakfast in the same Tweet.'
