Scytl Introduces Election 'Buzz' Measurement

September 13 2013

Barcelona-based electronic election voting software developer Scytl has launched an online conversation monitoring tool, developed specifically for electoral commissions and political parties.

Mikel IrizarScytl's solutions can be used for online voter registration, multi-channel e-voting, and phone voting, and incorporate advanced cryptography to allow secure electoral processes to be carried out electronically.

The firm's new Social Media Monitoring platform provides electoral and political bodies with a single view of all conversations relating to electoral issues, candidates, poll stations, and voting, in order to enable them to monitor opinions and keywords across social media and online networks.

Mikel Irizar (pictured) VP Worldwide Marketing, comments: 'With the launch of Scytl Social Media Monitoring, electoral bodies and political parties alike can capture and analyze electoral and political online conversations and data. Electoral commissions can leverage that data to better manage election-related information, and political parties can use the data to better understand what citizens are really saying.'
